Lead bullets and the Cutts compenstor

(1/2) > >>

Vernon/IN:
How much of a problem would lead slugs be when fired through the Cutts comensator?

I ask this because of the ranges where jacked slugs are not allowed.

Thanks

Vernon

Pitspitr:
It isn't.

The bullet doesn't actually touch the compensator. I shoot a few jacketed bullets through mine, but I mostly shoot all lead.

Vernon/IN:
Thanks.

This is good to know as I'm getting ready to add a 1927a1 to my colelction and see if there is enough interest in this area.

Thanks again.

Vernon

rickk:
Mine has never seen anything but lead and there is no sign of lead buildup anywhere.

Border Ruffian:
I've shot lead in mine and have never had any build up on the compensator.
