Snow day here, not that much actually but the 35-45 mph winds make it bad. ::)

Done here, guess at times visability was down to a couple hundred feet in places and there are 2-3 ft drifts in places and big bare spots, guess it was 2-3 inches total, was a restless snow. ::)

Wet and heavy. Snowblower kept clogging up and had to scare the bejesus out of the wife by putting my hand in to clear it..

Morning all.

Kenworth pilotage went well enough yesterday.  The drive home was far more interesting. Took 2 hours to go the 45 miles from Hamilton to Missoula because of snow. It didn’t help that I was in a 2wd flatbed. Ended up with 3-10 inches depending on where one felt like measuring.

Morning all.

32 and dropping white stuff here this morning.

Currently out in the parking lot at the doctor office while the better half is inside getting inspected for an ear infection.

Might make a stop at a toy store tomorrow, if the urge strikes (and if I get off work early enough).  I am in need of a new rifle cleaning rod, as my old one apparently got bent in the move: a fact discovered last night while organizing some boxes.

Penicillin

The urge you speak of is more habit with me , with an obligatory visit every Saturday and on Tuesday's maybe 3 times a Month.

Check out Bore Snakes to replace your Rod,  I swear by them.

I like them for shotguns. But I prefer a standard rod for rifles/handguns, as I can work on stubborn lead/copper fouling more easily.

Better to be careful and avoid the red-hot wire . . .

Did you get permission from the war department to show that film, Delmonico?

As I said: penicillin. ::)

Evening all.

Got another couple inches of white throughout the day. Nothing coming down at this particular hour.

Del, I have a hat question.  I’m looking into buying a new hat for keeping the rain and white stuff off my ears while pumping tanks. What would your suggestion be, as far as material, maker, shape,  etc.

Sunbody unstiffened palm leaf, cheap and durable.   Mine is now 10 years old and likely will have to be replaced by next year.   Can even soak them in a tank and use as a swamp cooler and can do the same with the bath tub and Dawn when the get sweaty and nasty.  Oh, they come in may styles oand are easy to reshape, just soak them, also get stiffer when wet.
