Taylor's Cattleman Photo Engraved Revolver
sfc rick:
Very late to this post but thought it would benefit those interested to see better quality photos of the actual Taylors & Company SAA.
Notice how deep the hand chased work makes the engraving look. It is stamped A. Uberti on the bottom of the barrel.
Virginia Gentleman:
These are great, who offered the reblued one?
Snake Oil:
I believe EMF has a blued engraved one...
I would like to find another one that matches mine...

Virginia Gentleman:
The Taylors and Company version is not just photo etched, but they have a skilled engraver chase and deepen the design, which is why they are more expensive. I have both and the one from Pietta is not as deeply engraved.
DarkLord:
Laser engraving has greatly improved, but its still clearly not equal to the real thing. That’s okay, because these are replica firearms. A brand new fully engraved Colt will run you 20 grand, or more. These guns give us the look and feel at an approachable price. For that I think they’re great. I shot the living snot out of a fully engraved Uberti and loved every minute of it.
