I have MVA sights on mine and got the screws from them. They can supply you with the correct screws for Uberti or Original 73. I tap the tang on my Uberti 73's like the original 73 rifles so the original sights fit them.

What is the case mouth catching on?  Is it just a sharp edge that needs a little stoning to smooth up?

Or maybe more crimp to roll the case mouth edge into the lead bullet?

Got the screws today, mounted the sight. Looks good, however it isn't looking to centered, a bit to the right.

Looks great. It is quite common to shim one side of the sight base to get proper alignment. I cut shims from shim stock, beer can or even paper. But paper is not recommended as it can trap moisture and cause rust.

I suppose this one is from Italy; they have done such a particular model since 2002. I tried to find it online, but they say it's sold out everywhere. There may also be a problem with purchasing because I've heard that such details can't be shipped without permission. I want to say that this model is one of the best I have used in my life because the quality of the product is at the highest level. Unfortunately, I think that you won't find this particular model because they are out of stock everywhere, but you can still find a good option on the scrooz.com.au website. There is a filter that may help you find things that you need immediately.

I have used pistol cartridge brass as it tapered in thickness, flattened and trimmed, to "tip" the stem of a tang sight if it was significantly out of plumb. If I just needed a bit, I used 38Spl brass, and 9mm if it needed more lean.
