Several years ago, the Sweetwater Regulators shot a few stages where a Sharps Rifle was one of the Firearms used. A Sharps Rifle and ammo were provided.

Well that was interesting, we went out the door yesterday, was going to catch Chinese for lunch and go grocery shopping.  I got in the passenger's side and she was almost in the other and fell over backwards landing on her butt and then falling prone on her back.  She was cussing as I got out and went around so I knew she was alive, I thought about reminding her that she always tells me that cussing is what some dumb says when they can't think of better.   ::)

Anyway she claims she is OK which I was sure was a lie ::)  Anyway she couldn't get up but no, no 911.  She is sure she can get up if I go get a pillow for her knees. ::)  Well after more trying and cussing and trying to help her she decides my idea is better and I call 911, but follow orders and tell them the ambulance is not needed.  OK, they show up, it's decided I need to go get the walker, which involves more running up and down the stair.  Well they get her up and she gets up the stairs.  So she decides to sit on the chair and tells the fireman she will be fine.  Lie #2, after a rest and them leaving she can't get up.  Oh a second chair will help, lie #3. ::)  After trying to help her till I was breathing real heavy she decides calling them back is a good idea.  So a different station shows up for the truck, they get her on the gurney and have to take her down the stairs, (I would have been pissed, on the ground would have been easier.)

As always since she wasn't likely dieing I did what we do I stayed home to be out of the way, ER rooms can get crowded,  I got in and realized my flannel shirt was soaked, sat down and took an inventory.  O2 was actually good, BP was 175 over 95 and pulse was 150.  Glucose was decent.  Well I overdid it, changed into my Garfield Jammie pants and a T shirt, took 2 nitros and lay down to nap, it's about 3 by now.  Napped a couple hours and decided to call her, hear her phone ring, she had put it in the walker thing.   Well crap, I need at least a few things from the store I'll run it in to her.  As I was getting ready I realized if I parked and tried to walk in we'd have another casualty.  :-\  Decide to take another inventory and it's no better.  Being somewhat smarter than my wife I take action, I grab my haversack and put the phone charger in it, it already had a charged power bank, a set of headphones, an unread book and a spare pair of undies.  I went out and sat on the porch so we didn't have to deal with the dog and I called 911.  Anyway they were a bit concerned about the numbers, got more nitro in the ambulance, by the time we get to the ER I was having chest pains and got some more, some meds and a shot of the good stuff. After all kinds of stuff including fluid they decided it was close but not so they kept me over night and did some more tests.  Got home about 4 pm, 2 Drs told me if she falls again don't, leave her there and call 911.  She has a bad UTI and will be there a few more days likely.

Never have used any in mine, no idea why one would.  I always used a little salt and pepper.

Hey Santee, any reason the latest videos are not embedded here?

It is amazing that you can produce new videos of this caliber every week!  Thanks again.

You say that like it is a bad thing. . . . sounds like a fun match, I'll bring my Leman and Colt's 1860!

Not sure I'd want to go to a reduced load in my infantry rifle.  I'm at just over 1,200 rounds of carbine loads through it so far this year: finally getting a "feel" for the rifle/load combination.  Maybe pick up a cut-down rifle and set it up as a sporter for the match.

Is that the same fancy guns we've seen before?  I guess I don't remember the fluted cylinders.

Changed the oil in the Suburban.
Cut some brush and box elder that was encroaching the fence.
Fixed some fence.

Number 2 daughter's birthday party at 1800. She is now 26.
BTW, she was hired as an ESL teacher at a school in Appleton, WI. She is currently commuting, but she is looking for a place closer.
