Southern District, GAF Recruiting Film
« on: July 16, 2008, 12:19:24 PM »
I hope everyone is doing well. I took a wild hair last night and made a short little recruiting clip on the Computer last night for the G.A.F. and have posted it on You Tube and Myspace. It's not a master piece by any stretch of the imagination, but just some toying around with pictures from the Website and History that I used. Would love some additional input regarding it.

The link to the clip can be found at:

- Micah J. Jenkins Camp No. 164, Sons of Spanish American War Veterans.

WOW!!! Such talent!! :o

You are really onto something with this medium for advertising the GAF. It could probably be hosted right here on CAS City in its finished form. The listing of the GAF web site needs to be provided so either the reader has enough time to copy it down.

I am sure others will have suggestions for additional content. This is an excellent start.

I'm not sure, if you'd like I can attempt to e-mail it to you, but it is probaly too large to do that with. If folks would like you can contact me via my E-mail, and I'll burn it to a CD and Mail it out to you all. All I'd ask is that the cost for mailing and the CD be covered, or folks can Mail me a CD and such and I'll send it back.

Thanks for the comments, I didn't think it was that good, but if it wants to make folks reenlist that's got to be a good sign.

Excellent, I enjoyed it, and Old Top was really jazzed to see him self. (the pix of 3 men lined up with arms..Top was the first.)
I took that pix on Veterans day and they invited Old Top to participate in the Color Guard.

fun to see the pix in another format...

Glad to hear it, I hope no one minded me using their pictures from the GAF Website, but figured that it would look better for potential recruits to see actual GAF members in action rather than historical paintings and pictures.

Old Top showed it to his wife, and she asked how you got the picture, and he told her that I had posted the picture. She then asked if I got paid, and he said, well no.....

I enjoy photography and enjoy sharing my pictures. The ones that I sell I don't post on the wires...But I feel use of my work is a compliment.

to see more of my work drop by my web site:

let me know if you like what you see....
