pistol or rifle? .......should work in a pistol ok ..............rifle maybe - I would prefer the 158 grain version - have used that in 357 mag blackpowder rounds quite ok

I doubt it would carry enough lube for a rifle with real gunpowder. I use 777 in my 20" rifles and no problem regardless of the lube or bullet.

It's for a 4" S&W Double Action built in 1880-1885, so BP is all I'm gonna use in it for side matches.
