Thank you for the coffee - same inspection completed here- the big dog is outside doing her morning patrol. All the cats are out and on the deck looking at a empty food dish. The heat continues. Today?s orders feed the chickens and goats - trip to feed store then maybe to a food store of some kind. Then  College football this afternoon.

Otherwise. plans include a typical Saturday visit to the Toy Store and lunch with a copula for friends....
There is Gun Show over in Melbourne , but last weeks  03 Springfield acquisition pretty much depleted the sock drawer stash....
I figure to forgo the drive & temptations  ::)

nut n honey ...NADA ...to wit I'm content... no temptation at the Toy Store either... goody

Lunch was at the Catfish place , go for the fried green tomato's stay for the most excellent catfish ...and good ice tea

Man is here to mow the pastures . beyond that I'm chilling  :)

Got back from prenuptial dinner for the niece, wedding is at 3 PM tomorrow.  Things can settle down.  Rita still has to finish sewing her dress.

Take a couple days off and then start on the house from head to toe so we can just hole up and do what we want this winter.

Gonna have at least a weeks supplies or actually more, gonna park pickup behind her car so I won't have to go anywhere and let it snow.  Can keep the house warm enough with gas oven and charge batteries in vehicles if need be.

May get a couple inches middle of the week, can't wait to see the little brown dog with his first snow.

Little brown dog is growing fast, we think he's about 4 months now.

First picture is his don't mess with me stink eye look.  Second one is his I'm sorry I won't do it again look.  Niece says when he uses that look you can't stay ,and for long. ;D

He's sharp as a tack, if he gets in trouble with me he goes to her, in trouble with her he comes to me.  Both, he goes to the door tobe let out, then he's a good dog for going potty. ::)

No regrets here, discovered something today, he has a little mole behind his left nostril, right where Rowdy had one, not unusual, just odd to have it in the exact same place.  Pointed it out to Rita and she said it just proves he was meant for us.

Latest Yuppie cooking trend, bake a thick custard of some kind, like pumpkin, in a pie pan and call it a crustless pie.

How in the hell is it a pie if it don't have a crust, no wonder people have no idea which bathroom they are supposed to take a crap in. ::)

Rain forecasted 60% today Mon. & Tues...  another forecast says 70% today and 80% Mom and Tuesday ?.
I need to reload anyway, seems like a good excuse .

I shot a good amount of my stash of 30/06 last Sunday and I have the 41 Swiss to load for.

"SHE" turns 62 tomorrow , plans are her sister - niece and our daughter have a girls day planned.....
So I'll take her out to dinner later this afternoon and gift this morning .

Coffee is up

Our team lost big last night...
HOWEVER we were blessed with some rain and a bit cooler air.

Had a neighbor,  a not so near neighbor, dog kill one of our hens yesterday. I have had issues with these people before, so have the near neighbors.
Suzanne and her son run it off. Did not have a firearm with them.

BTW according to History Channel App: this day in 1866 the Reno Brothers pulled off the first train robbery

My youngest Grand daughter got baptized this morning, She did NOT like the cold water, Had a gathering afterward with food and such. I have to ask, when did people stop dressing for church? There were people in shorts and tee shirts looking like they just rolled out of bed. It just seems wrong to me.

My usual  is either a plaid button up, or a nice polo, with my nicest jeans and polished boots.  Can't afford a suit.

I'm back in Billings. Mostly uneventful trip back, though the cruise control in my truck quit working about 30 minutes into the trip. Was going 70 through a flat area and it decided to give up the ghost and I dropped to 50 really quickly.  I think it's a fuse.

When they became slobs.

Went to nieces wedding today, bought new boots and a new pair of dress pants, wore the frock coat, tie and cleaned up my good hat and wore it.

Was impressed with Lexi's dad at first, had a nice suit and tie and Irish cap, then I seen the fricking tennis shoes

No, just another pretty much worthless turd like my stepdaughter.

He almost fell in the gravel parking lot while texting on his phone, neither of them can keep a job for more than a few months.  Both are working at Taco Bell right now, they are 33.
