This week I was fortunate enough to obtain this Uberti Cimarron 1873 "Texas Brush Popper" in 357 magnum from a buddy. He already had it dialed in so the first time out I had no trouble ringing steel plates out at 100 yards with the buckhorn sights. That is saying something with my old eyes. What a fun and beautiful gun.

Very nice. I almost bought one in 45 colt. Ended up with a straight stocked 1/2 round 1/2 octagon non-checkered Stoeger/uberti in 45. Congrats on the new gun.

LOL. The case coloring on that one is pretty intense.

Very nice looking little rifle. Hope you have many hours of enjoyment shooting it. I have a 1873 Winchester/Miroku rifle in .357 and it is very accurate and a hoot to shoot.
