Been awful busy with trades the last couple of months, but it has been fun! Anyhoo, I got two Colts today that could sure work in ZS. First, a 1933 built New Service in .45ACP, think 1917 with a high polish and no lanyard loop. Solid as a rock, the finish is really good, can't wait to get it to the range.
Second is a true mud puppy. A 1920 Pocket Positive with an unusual 6" barrel. Sadly neglected, broken grips, finish gone and hadn't been cleaned or lubed in decades. Well, finally got some fossilized electric tape remains off the back strap, cleaned and lubed the little beast and put some NOS Jay Scott MOP grips on it. It's now decently smooth and will get tested out Monday along with it's brother.
