I have built me a " Range Box " W/ a LEE pro 1000 ( 80's model 3 hole'r ) holds all I need to reload at the range . Just set the dies at home on the bench , for each cal. has powder measure , digital scale ,primers , 1# powder, all the components , only weights 30# or less ( depending ) in a box 12"D x13"H,X 21" wide. I LIKE IT !!!

I admire anyone with the skill to build their own sights. That's impressive - at least to me!
But what kind of black powder load does it like? ;D
-
These photo's show both positions ,# 1 ,is for storage & hauling.
#2 ,is in the loading position.
-
#3 is with cover locked and ready for transport to range or storage.

That is a mighty fine range box Slamfire . ,,,,DT

Thank ya' DT ,I have been using it to do my experimental loads while at the range ( I keep notes of the loads ), weights about 22-30# with all I need .
The Digital scale is a little touchy if it is very windy .

That range box looks well thought out . It sure speeds up the process when you can load and test at the bench . Not to mention the ability to find out that a particular load is not worth pursuing , saving the time and components from being wasted . ,,,,,DT

Nicely done! I love a well thought out kit.

Hey DT,I think it saves me time ,, don't have to wait till I get home to load different loads ( 23 mile round trip ).
Thank ya' Phil, it did take several trial & re-do's , but it seems to be about right,, but any suggestions on improving the " KIT " i'm will to look at.

Nice work. The brass cleaning machine must be in a different box, huh? ;)

Hey King ,, I use those dishwasher packets ( w/ 3 different colored soaps ) in a gallon jug of warm water , after I clean the primer pockets , leave for about 40-45 min. , no longer or they turn orange looking . Put on (in ) a o'l towel , put my hair dryer on HI, roll the cases around and dry for 4-5 min. let set until ready to reload. Maybe takes 1hr. all together. FOOD for thought !!! a quart bottle of water ( with mix ) will fit in the box , de-prime at the range , put cases in bottle should be clean when ya' get home ,,, start again ( lol-lol ).
