« on: October 24, 2008, 01:20:27 PM »
Visit the Dispatches tab on the GAF web site for a link to the new 2008 Grand Muster web page. I hope the slide show works okay for anyone using a dial-up connection.

More photos have been added to the slideshow!!

While working on the photos I noticed many orbs ( round spots of lighter color) on several of the pictures. They seem to be more noticeable on the photos taken in darker situations. "Ghost hunters" will tell you that orbs represent a spirit!! :o Could we have been visited by soldiers from the past who served at Fort Hartsuff ?? :o  Some will say they are only dust particles in the air. :(

The choice is yours. :-\

Enjoy,

Just flashing bounching flash. ;D  Wern't no ghosts in the barracks, unless they were ghost ducks, swore I heard some ducks in there in the night. ;D

Delmonico,

I'll bet there were a whole herd of "ghost ducks" in the barracks at night. Army beans seem to attract them! :D

One reason I didn't make beans or anything with cabbage.

Now in 2005 everyone pretty much had their own tent.  Reason it was safe to do the sweet kraut and pork, plus the corned beef and cabbage the same night for supper.   ;D

Jeff, I hope you can be a part of the festivities next year.

Me, too!

It's already on the agenda for me and Jed Cooper.  We're going to have to miss the NCOWS Eastern Regional next year, but I'm gonna make AT LEAST ONE  Grand Muster before I kick the bucket!

Glen, save some rye bread and potato soup for me, OK?!
