reinforceing loading gate on a new 66
« on: March 18, 2006, 08:13:24 PM »
Evenin' all
I have read somewhere that the loading gates on newer model 1866's are prone to failure after a short time. I have also heard that a dab of JB Weld? in the right spot can prevent failure. Will one of you kind folks help a greenhorn out before my loadin' gate takes a dump. Thank you

You might want to get one from Brass Action Gunshop in Fremont, Nebraska directly, I'm at work right now and don't have their number, they make the loading gate for most of the suppliers and charge over 50 percent less for it than the importers get for it.... ;D
