:)  Oh NO, Mr. Bill  ;)

Obviously, Deacon and Major 2 have temporarily fallen to the Dark Side of Gunoholicism.  A truly abysmal state.  I shall endeavor that my fellow Pastafarians unite in their aide.

It has been decided they (Deacon & Major) can forward their most recent failures of resistance to ME.  Hence we can forestall this videos assimilation!!

Look Out!!!  People are still Hazardous to Yer Health

What about these? I have this mold, Rapine 358-149 and 358-158. Here is the 149 which drops a .365 diameter

I have the same Rapine 358-158 mold that I've loaded in 38LC cases for the last twenty years. Accuracy in my guns (Uberti/Kirst 51 Navies) was outstanding. However, due to the length of the bullet it was difficult to cram much more that about 14 grs of Goex 3F and fit the Kirst OAL restrictions. I finally resorted to the advice in an article published in The Blackpowder Cartridge News which described filling the case with 17/18 grs 3F, partially seating the bullet, then turning the whole thing UPSIDE DOWN and finish seating in a hand press. This allowed the extra powder to fill the hollow base, and the bullet could then be seated to correct OAL. Yeah, I know, a lot of extra work. However, the additional powder charge seemed to push the effectiveness of the cartridge to the point where steel knock down targets were no problem at Cowboy Matches, and as mentioned, accuracy was outstanding past 25 yards.

I have looked at that holster in Packing Iron and wanted to try it many times but haven't yet. Yours turned out beautiful. Nice job. The half flap holsters are a thing of beauty to me.

OK here is my take on your thought.......

So, I'm in the LGS about 2 months or so ago, and see a Springfield 911 NIB, I handled it, and what cool little CCW
Basically, a 9MM version of the Colt Maverick (380, I don't care for the .380).
But I procrastinated, and it sold out from under my hesitation, then I looked at a Rock Island enhanced Commander 1911.
again, I himed & hawed ....and it too was snapped up....
So, I figured was not meant to be..... But what did avail itself, (actually it was there just priced outreach)
was a very nice Springfield EMP .... with the other sold, I though what the heck, I made a lowball offer hoping the PO would counteroffer, well he didn't ...HE TOOK the offer  :o
So, I figure all was preordained, and I got this, sometimes the later bird does get the prize  ;D
