Are the revolvers produced by Armi Jager from the 1960s-1993 approved?  I was unsure if they fell under the umbrella of EMF as the importer.

Thanks,
Jim

If you are referring to the Dakota model with the brass frame, it would probably not meet NCOWS requirements for authenticity. I have one, it shoots very well and I would never part with it, but the brass frame renders it not NCOWS legal.

I have a couple Cabela's colt clones with brass frames. I got a bottle
of brass black from Brownells and now they look like blued steel. I can't see
anyone knowing the difference and filing a complaint. You may have to
recoat them in a couple years.

Thanks guys!  I'm planning a list to watch for, and wanted to check.  I forgot about the brass grip frames on these.
