That's outstanding advice.  I haven't shot any of my test loads yet (my local indoor range says no to BP) - and will report those results here, and maybe help some other new guy.

Ho 1-12 INF,

Give them boolits a ride and if you have fouling or accuracy problems, toss 'em in the melting pot and cast the metal as Big Lube bullets.

Driftwood is straight on.  Yes, I adopted his design and lengthened the nose slightly.  It's called the J/P 45 and does weigh in at 210 grains.  This is my bullet of choice for both rifle and pistol
