Yes! Very nice read and great looking pistolas!! The most interesting section for me was the tuning section of course!! Sounds  .  .  .  very familiar!! Lol!! I didn't know Jeff uses a flat combo spring!! :o   I would have thought individual torsion springs would be a go-to setup!!  The bolt block is a given  as well as the Ruger inspired frame mounted spring and plunger.  No mention of an action stop (?)  maybe Jeff doesn't use them but it was probably an oversight  (can't believe he wouldn't use a stop, especially in a "possible" fanner situation  ::) ) .  A switch to a coil mainspring is a "feat"  and I'd expect that!  It's been a Munden "trademark"  for ever!
One thing for sure, setting open top revolvers up this way is a bit of a "re-engineering" exercise but man what a tough cookie you end up with!!

Very nice guns indeed!!

Mike

Interesting article. While I'm not drawn to over engraved firearms of any sort, the action tuning was more of an interest. I think they're pretty as is!  :)

By description and Photograph, that pair of '51 Conversions are simply incredible.  They will be far more reliable than any bog stock or tuned Strap gun.  Not to mention a whole lot better looking.

Now I need an address and a dark moonless night and a fast getaway ................ nah.  Don't Go There.  Admire from AFFAR.

Yes, I'm late to the dinner table! Great article and beautiful firearms there! Gives me some ideas for my 51s.......Might need to get a couple shipping boxes and get them out to Munden!
