Well, not exactly ;D Those uniforms don't  look quite GAF legal either, but it sure looks like fun. Wish I coulda been there.

Nearly 14 years in the Army never had chance to fire a thompson, did have Grease Guns in the Arms room but never had the .45 Ammo allocation to fire them.  Couple years ago I got to fire a Thompson at Winter Range, what a hoot.  Perhaps I could sell my truck and the wifes car and acquire a full auto Thompson.  The semis look interesting albeit a bit long in the barrel.  Perhaps one day.

::) Hmmmm, I see.
Seems to me those uniforms are only authorized for EM-50 Urban Assault Vehicle crew members.

Have you been reassigned? ???

I rented a full auto Thompson at an indoor range in Maryland one year when I was up there for the NE Regional in Thurmont. Side matches were cancelled due to heavy rain. I put 49 rds through it [had one ftf]. Decided that I didn’t want a full auto. I’ve also fired a friend of my son’s MP5. Thats a cool fast gun. Also shot 20 rds through a Maxim and a Colt Gatling at EOT. You’ve got to have deep pockets for that hobby. I would like to try a Lewis Gun. They are pretty neat. On my way in the back burner gun builds are a propane gas operated 1917 Browning WC and a Lewis in .45acp built around an AR.

A Thompson has been on my 5 top wish list

I had filled the other four  :) and just about decided it would be just that a wish ( not to be fulfilled )

Then the A5 popped up at my friendly FFL, and I was give first refusal ...I didn't
the price was right, I had the ducks at the same tine as the planets aligned ...

I had an Walther IDA UZI  in 22 LR,   and I had one of the Polish PPS 43s in 9MM ...both cool but neither did it for me and I traded them off.

when planets align...do the deal !

Anymore you need deep pockets for feeding even semi-auto's and bolt guns.
