« Last post by chasb11104 on Today at 01:08:59 PM »
I am looking for a nice example of an '03 Springfield.  I am also willing to entertain the purchase of an '03A3.
If you have one you would consider selling, please let me know.
Thank you.

I would like to purchase a Browning Mountain rifle.  50cal is preferred but I am willing to entertain one of the other calibers this rifle was chambered in.
If you have one that you would consider selling, please let me know.  Also, if you have any accessories, I am interested as well.
Thank you.

I never would have guessed that.

Thanks.

Well, I guess the Winchester designers wanted it there!  :)

All '73's and '76's have it.

I was hoping that was the case.  Authenticity, and all.  Even though mine is a repro, obviously.

Thanks.

It keeps the lever locked in a closed position, as might be necessary when riding a horse.

It has a rotating "hook"/"latch" just behind the lever.  None of my other lever actions have that.  I know what it does, but why's it necessary?

How about that center barrel on the le matte? You could add powder and lead to top anything couldnt you?

>:(  Hello Bryan   >:(

I find your reference to "Liberal Media" to politicize a rather simple subject to be really annoying.  Especially since you're entirely "off base."  Political dissertations have no place in our context.

I rest my case!

It is a great bag and horn, Dave!  Tim made it exactly how I envisioned it!  The spout plug on the horn has "TEXAS" on one side and "1836" on the other.
