The Darksider's Den / Re: Man with no name conversion

Ok- sorry for all the questions. Still waiting for Cimarron to get back to me whether they have the parts in stock. Got looking this revolver over again.
Took the barrel assembly off and was looking at it, and I noticed very bad leading. Strange thing is, the leading is only on the right hand side of the (I think) non existent forcing cone. Would this have anything to do with the hand problem?
Thanks for the time.

I've bought from both and had equally good service from them.

I've been  using  Hermann Oak leather in my business for over forty  years now.  I've  used W&C and they're  leather is also top quality.  I stay with Hermann  Oak,  because they don't  have  a  problem working with my special requests.  I buy only backs in the skirting and have it leveled to my specs.  I buy full sides in cartridge loop and money belt leather, which is also leveled to my specs.  I don't  worry about a minimum order, because I  never order less than five pieces at a time and usually much more.  Pricing between the two companies is very competitive.

Sorry. He’s a photo of the belt lock I mentioned. Make it narrower and put it on the back of the body of the holster to keep the holster from rising.

W&C because they don’t have limits on number of sides and they will also split it to my spec at no cost.

Cosie's Corner & Feed Bag / Dutch Oven Gathering September 17-19
« Last post by Delmonico on Yesterday at 09:30:43 PM »
Due to my health and Covid restrictions we did not have our Dutch Oven Gathering last year at Rock Creek Station State Historical Park near Fairbury Nebraska.   We are on for this year, it is organized by my Facebook Dutch Oven Group but others are welcome.   It's a weekend of learning both modern and historical cooking with dutch ovens, this is one of the few dutch oven events where wood can be used to to restrictions on building fires in parks and bringing in outside wood.  I have been doing demonstrations there for over 20 years so I am trusted with fires and they have plenty of wood from work on the park.

I am just in the planning stages, if anyone is interested message me no matter if you want to observe, learn or demonstrate.   There is modern camping in the park, primitive period camps are allowed in the area we will be cooking.   There is no fee, non-demonstrators will need a park permit available at the office.
