I made this from original photos. This rig was in his bedroom when he was shot. The design is incised with a stitch groover.

 WOW!... looks like a museum quality exact replica.  :o
I always found it interesting that most old west cartridge belts have every available inch covered with bullet loops... most modern reproduction cartridge belts have 24 or less.

Incredible work skeeter... that is a lot of sewing on that belt
