I could do that ....

So far I have ....

 M38 Luftschutz Helmet

M16 "Stahlhelm Helmet"

M17 “Brodie Helmet"  US issue

French M26 “Adrian" Helmet

M Ssh40  Soviet Helmet

and just today acquired a M1 US pot w/liner & net ( this one is in the Current display  "Suited for Service" A glimpse of US military uniforms from the Civil War to WW2 ) from the generosity of the current owner.  :)

I have a War of 1812 leather Dragoon helm and may join,  but the bridge to WW1 may be greater than I want to display  :-\

Added to my humble collection of WW1 & WW2 helmets

with a  Heer M42 Stahlhelm, the shell is stamped Q 66                             ..
the liner is hand written marked  57-59   also hand written is the name   Gotz G

It had been repainted  :(    but can't complain for gratis  ;)

I also picked up a late war US M1 Shell

Another interesting Helmet joined the wall hanging

This one is a M51 Belgian it is based on the US M1 late WW2 design.
First issued in 1951 original paint w/ some minor dents and paint chips down to the primer.
After World War II many NATO Nations adopted the M1 style helmet.
The Belgian helmet was made of non-magnetic Hadfield steel.
Made by adding 1.00-1.25% Manganese to steel with a carbon range of 1:10 ratio.
