Major 2:
Never cared for Fonda other than maybe Spencer's Mountain and Cheyanne Social Club .
The Duke was great as the " Duke " ...

 Stewart & Ford maybe....but I think Duvall & Tommy Lee WERE Gus & Woodrow  none of the other players carried it
Voight & Garner , Urban & Zane , Miller & Arquette not even close

Lonesome Dove was the Hit !

I agree on Tommy Lee and Duval. The others are barely watchable. I wish they had done two or three prequels with those two and then Gus getting killed and the trek back in the final installment.
