It was odd, because I was thinking about him this morning before I heard the news. I was remembering an audio book I listened to that he read and what a great job he did. I was wondering if he was still working. Then this afternoon I heard the news that he had passed on in Boise.  Kind of eerie.   What a great actor,  though, especially in westerns.  I just saw him in a small role in "Shenandoah" last weekend.

What is the attraction in Boise, Idaho that old movie stars seem to migrate to?  Maureen O'Hara was living in Boise when she passed away last year. Of all the cities to retire to when you can afford to live anywhere.......Boise, Idaho????
