I believe these metal shellholders are made from spring steel.
Brass or copper tubing would not have enough tension to hold the shells securely.

Ok- sorry for all the questions. Still waiting for Cimarron to get back to me whether they have the parts in stock. Got looking this revolver over again.
Took the barrel assembly off and was looking at it, and I noticed very bad leading. Strange thing is, the leading is only on the right hand side of the (I think) non existent forcing cone. Would this have anything to do with the hand problem?

Thanks all,,,,,i have been arguing/discussing with a person on internet who was trying to convince me they have a pair of stainless rodeos they would sell me. Their pics looked nickel to me, but they swear,,.

Edit: Ah! I found my other thread where you guys answered this for me previously. I had lost it. I am not the internet guru i thought i was.  :-\ :)

I've been  using  Hermann Oak leather in my business for over forty  years now.  I've  used W&C and they're  leather is also top quality.  I stay with Hermann  Oak,  because they don't  have  a  problem working with my special requests.  I buy only backs in the skirting and have it leveled to my specs.  I buy full sides in cartridge loop and money belt leather, which is also leveled to my specs.  I don't  worry about a minimum order, because I  never order less than five pieces at a time and usually much more.  Pricing between the two companies is very competitive.

Sorry. He’s a photo of the belt lock I mentioned. Make it narrower and put it on the back of the body of the holster to keep the holster from rising.
