NOT! ... But I do have need for a GOOD Medium EDC emergency road Bag.
I've looked on Amazon and there are many verities, colors, single sling,
Molle, Crossbody and even Hydration bags.
It's somewhat overwhelming.

So, a little background in my SUV I have get out of trouble stuff !
 Tools, Battery jumper and a battery compressor.

Has anyone any recommendation for decent Medium Backpack.
I'm leaning on a single strap crossbody

Being retired Military, most of my suggestions would require you engage the services of a "Porter."  Therefore, I must abstain.  (chuckle chuckle giggle)

I want to avoid Sherpa's
I have learned something about sizing though

The L following the number indicates Liters
So, a Medium sized bag might be 20L +or-
I don't need attachments I:E Molle or Hydronation bladder.

Well Sir it has met my needs.

Within I have:

* A lightweight change of Duds', T-Shirt, Gym Shorts, light nylon windbreaker/rain resistant hoody and a spare pair of underwear.
* Sm. LED light
* Simple/basic First aid kit
* Multi Tool
* Larger folding knife
* Fire starter, including Lighter, waterproof matches and farrow rod.
* Snubby 38 Revolver w/ quick loader strips
* Some packaged eatables.
* Hank of paracord
* Thermal Emergency Rescue Mylar Blanket.
* A stash of my Prescription, Tylenol, antiacids
* Small SS mug

This thing travels with me and to and from the SUV daily.

If Zombies come, well I'll have a conversation starter

Looks good! Couple bottles of water?  Maybe a charger pack for your phone?  In olden times, maybe a compass but probably no need these days.  Swap out your Rx pills every so often.

Hi Abilene, Good idea on the Rx.  I'd get a compass, and the detailed  maps for your state or the state you'll be escaping too.  If we REALLY REALLY need the stuff we've got prepped, Cell phone satellites will be toast as will the transmitters.
