Title: Clearwater Hat Company
Post by: Big Bear Lowe on May 04, 2023, 09:08:05 AM
Anybody got any news about these folks.  I’ve sent them several messages and get no reply.
They make/made great hats, very durable and historically correct.  I’ve owned several and was looking for a new one but it seems they are not to be found.  Their website is still up but unchanged now for several years. Any news would be appreciated.

Take a look at this guy's FB page. He can make just about anything western. He restored 2 hats for me and did a wonderful job.

Hi, Talk to Mike Moore in Covington TN (Buckaroo Hatter) since your signature looks like you're from the Volunteer State.  He's not really cheap, but he's really good.  He did Civil War and SASS back a few years.

I will admit my ignorance, never heard of a beehive hat.  So I googled it to see what it looks like, and see that Bristol Hollow makes one, both low and high crown.

Wonder what inspired that peak in the crown. Easier to turn rain?
