Graf's .30-40 Brass
« on: October 25, 2021, 08:29:25 AM »
Gentlemen,  I'm trying to get some guys going on Krags.  Anyone use Graf's .30 Army brass?  How's it compared to Winchester, Remington, etc.?  Thanks!

I've used it almost exclusively, Dale. Works great in my Krag

Got a couple hundred.  Good stuff.
Civilize them with a Krag . . .

Hi Dale
The Hornady is the best.  It was more uniform than the Graf or the other brand that Graf sells, nothing wrong with any of it after sizing though.

I've always used Remington and Winchester (plus a bunch of old stuff, some even marked .30 Army) and it's all worked fine.  I just bought some Winchester to replace some of my worn out brass, but the place I bought it from is about out.  Hopefully I can get a couple more guys shooting Krags!

Most of want i use is the Hornady, but I also have a mixture of other stuff. I also purchase 50 of the Graf brass and have no problems with it.
