1875 Remington Original Front Site

Now they all use the cross pin. I believe all of the earliest 1875s went to Replica Arms of Ohio back in the early 70s. I believe there may have been less than 400 made that way as I haven't seen or heard of one out of the 3XX range. I have three, two in the 2XX range and also serial # 10.

Yes they did made for Replica Arms which was bought out by Navy Arms I had them with Post sites. The original I think had the post, I have an old book I got back in 1961, published in 1922, has a drawing of the 1875, with a post site. I am just not sure. I prefer the post site, but the EMF I have now has a blade site.
Thanks for the responses
