Howdy Hairless,
The Sandhill Regulators shoot at the Central Kansas gun club on the 3rd Saturday of every month.  The next is scheduled for April 16.  This is their 3rd season of shooting and they are going to host a two day shoot on memorial weekend. The gunclub has a website, www.ckgu.org, and it has contact information and directions to the range  there.  The number of shooters there average 20-30 a match and they generally do six scenarios and a side match or two. SASS rules apply and they are affiliated.  Even if you are short an iron or two show up and somebody will help you out. Hope can come out and bang and clang  with us.

Hey Rick,
The address is www.ckgc.org.  The marshall has it linked on his map.  Shoot me a emule and I will get on their emule list.  They generally send out announcements before matches and any other particulars that are going on.
Adios

My sister, Sherri and her husband, Curt.. have just bought a home and also the Daylight Donut shop in Hutch.. so I imagine we will try to time our weekends with them that will maybe coincide with the shoots.
Keep us informed... and we will get on their e-mail list.

Marshal'ette,
The Regulators are having a match this Saturday, 10-15.  Registration starts by 8 and safety meeting starts at 8:30.  We generally get wound up about 9 for the shootin and finish 6 stages with lunch about 130.  The gun club is on north Lorraine street.  Just find 30th  and Lorraine and head north.  You will run out of pavement after 2 miles and be on dirt for a mile and a half or so.  The club entrance is on the right side and follow the cowboy sign to the range.  Hope youre hankering for donuts this Saturday.  Daylights are the BEST donuts and I grew up with the rooster crowin on the box.
I will have to tell Goatroper to get busy with the email list again.  It kinda fell down and they havent used lately.
See Ya ,

Thanks for the update Pvt H..
This week end is already lined out. Wish it wasn't, cause we haven't yet been to my sis's place, so it would be a good time to combine the 2 things.
We'll get to one of the matches ... Don't give up on us.. lol

We are going to be in Hutchinson on the weekend before Thanksgiving..helping out in the Daylight Donut shop (spreading our good cheer and free labor.. LOL) I believe it is the 19th.. We will probably come on Thursday, the 17th.
Is there anything going on at that time?
I know that on Saturday morning there is a big parade isn't there?

ya got me stumped on the parade question.  I think there is a christmas parade in there sometime but that coincides with pheasant hunting.  I dont get to town more than once a week if I can help it.  That weekend is the third Sat. which is what Saturday we shoot so it could happen.  We shot in November last year to end the season.   I will find out this Saturday what is up for next month.

Is the 36-75 Gun Club range (south of Sabetha) still there?
« Reply #15 on: October 29, 2005, 11:25:25 AM »
 ???
We usta shoot there in the 1980's.  They put on some real fine shoots. They held pistol silhouette & combat matches the last I heard of.
I dunno who to contact to see if'n they still shoot.  The range was just short piece north of the rest stop.

I'm just over the state line by 30 miles, Springfield CO. Was wondering if anyone knew of CAS matches/clubs in South West KS.
Thanks
Hal
