uberti 51 navy safety issue
« on: February 27, 2024, 10:32:13 AM »
I bought a uberti 51 navy and its a fine gun, however when I place it on the safety pin it jams. I cannot cock it at all, the hammer barely moves. I tried trying it with the barrel removed and it still doesn't cock after its placed onto the pins. Im figuring its down to the hand but not sure.

It could be the bolt leg is not resetting on the hammer cam.

I was going with a PLUS ONE for Abilene, but if your down to just the Hammer and Cylinder and it's still stuck, I don't even have a WAG without looking inside.  Butt - If you left the hammer in the gun and the .... nope. not even a guess without having it in-hand and looking inside.

If Brandy dam'd New, the Barrel Breach may be jamming against the Cylinder Face, stopping  rotation.  Or yer just not holding yer tongue just right, maybe.
