I do. Thank you. I was impressed with all your testing, and was just wondering if you did the same test loads in a colt/uberti/ruger/whatever pistol. I'm primarily a pistol shooter, so that was why I ask. I remember way back when I started CAS I was using Green Dot powder, was all I had at the time, some of the guys in my club more or less complained I was bashing the targets too hard with my heavy loads. I know my TB loads are on the light side, but it is what my guns like best. Right now my bullets are MBC .428's, I tried .430's but they won't chamber in any of my pistols without force feeding, so when I run out of the .428's, I'll try .429.

Ah, okay!!!

I never did try powders like Red Dot, Green Dot or even Bullseye. I would like to try Bullseye one day just to compare.

I used Trail Boss for CAS because it was accurate and I handloaded loaded in volume, and the 6.4gr "bulk" charge I used overflows if double charged. For kicks I tried a full case load of Trail Boss for testing. I was able to get 9.3gr and seat the bullet without compressing the powder. That charge created 15,182 psi and only 1,250fps in a 20" testing barrel. The 6.4gr created 7, 224 psi.

Your 4.5gr charge, if accidently doubled...is gonna roar with chamber pressure if undetected. However, 15,000psi is not going to cause your revolver to "blow up" either, but would "resist" if continued use of that load :-)

I did the same test with Unique but stopped at 12gr. So for those that use 6gr of Unique, a "double charge" produced 21,786 psi and 1,635fps with a 200gr Magma bullet from the 20" testing barrel.

For "plinking", Trail Boss is much better than folks give it credit for.....and can be fun "dinging" targets at 200 yards.

I have a lot of targets documented here: https://sites.google.com/view/44winchester/handloading/targets-load-development?

Over the past few weeks I have been narrowing down my POA's over a variety of ranges with the scope "basically" zeroed in at 200 yards.

Today I tried to get the angle of impact at 265 yards, check the POA at 50 yards and 25 yards.

Added a few videos too.
