The Saturday at the FFL toy Store & lunch routine , hit the MOTHER LOAD !

Guy was in with his late fathers eclectic collection , all will be for sale....I was asked to help apprise some of the guns
My friend and FFL will be cosigning these ..

Like a Uberti Mod 1875 Remington revolver in 45 and nickel ... Fried but only lightly

two Taurus 92's Rifles in 45  and 1 Puma SRC (unfired)  SS in 45

1 Taurus slide action nickeled in 45 ( unfired )  ::)

1 Winchester 94 SRC in 30/30 ( well used )

Several S&W top breaks 2 or 3 were Safety Hammerless (Lemon Squeezer's ) 2 of those were very nice , some OK and some are just parts guns.  38's & 32's

a couple of H&R's

A  # 1 mark 3 SMLE ( sporterized  :( ) also well used

An early Weatherby Rifle Sporter  ( $$$$)  very nice

22 Remington gallery pump ( nice)

nice 870 Remington 12 gauge....

Some Clunkers...
There were Misc.  US revolver Co. top breaks ( parts gun mostly )

Sawed off 18" single shot 12 Gauge with butt sawn off as well ( Sears I think )
several Sears 22 bolt actions.

BUT the CREAM

3 - 1903 COLT auto's  ( one is engraved nickel & pearl , drop dead gorgeous appear unfired ) the other 2 are blue and appear in good/ ex cond.   I believe there were the fellows PETS

If anything appeals or perks your interest ( maybe the Cowboy guns ? ), PM me and I'll look into them for you

The "Cream" sounds most interesting to me...but my budget will probably say no. Are they .380, or .32?

Those 1903's are neat guns, but a bit pricey. I've depleted my toy budget again, went to a local store to pick up a plastic ccw holster for my plastic S&W, and they had a couple of real, steel, Star BMs in the case. They were both calling out to me, so hard to pick just one. Probably could get 3 or 4 of them for the cost of one 1903 Colt.

Evening all.

100 and sunny today.  Per California usual.

Took the dog for a walk, up outside of town.  We had fun, chased some rabbits and saw a good size buck.

Came home and watched a doe sitting in the back yard with her new twins.  They were maybe five hours old.

When I went to put the chickens up, there were a pair of young skunks in the chicken yard nibbling on some corn cobs I threw out earlier.  I manage to get in and close up the chickens without issue, so that's a plus.

My final bit of information.  A deputy a few hours south that I am acquainted with was shot today in connection with an armed robbery.  According to the person i talked to about it (lieutenant in the local sheriff's department, who knows the man well), he is stable and expected to make a full recovery.  The suspects led law enforcement on a Chase up interstate 5 into the county next door where they wrecked the car and ran.  One was injured and tried to shoot it out with police.  He lost.  His two partners are still loose, but they have one trapped in a barn until SWAT arrives.  The other is still running, but they have the helicopter on him.

I estimate the engraved nickel 03 will bring North of $2000,  well North
The two blue guns $1500- $1800 cool as they all are they are out of the question in my case.

There are a couple other pieces that have me looking back over my shoulder ... but I have see what the asking will be  :-\

Oops-better make that "I could get 6 or 7 of them for the price of one 1903"

Any of the S&W top breaks or the H&Rs have longer than 3" barrels?

Afternoon all.

98 and sunny in California.  I just finished doing a bit of yard work, so I'm going to enjoy a cup of coffee and jello cake.

I should get my new loading press tomorrow.  I'm going to the city with my mom though, so I guess my brother will have to take delivery.  I'll pick up some components in the city.  Hopefully get a rifle sold while I'm down there, too.

Evening y'all.
No coffee for me, but bring on the iced lemon bicarbonate.

Trimmed the other horses hooves, yesterday.

Took Esther to 4H air rifle practice at 18:00. Sweat was running down my face.  ::)

One of our cats had 4 kittens a month ago. She disappeared a few days ago. Therefore, we are dropper feeding the kittens.  ::)

A friend, that knows I like cowboy guns, brought a 1893 Marlin in .32-40 made in 1894 over. I ended up buying it for $400. I took it to the local toy store owner that has a Marlin collection. He said it was a nice gun and I got it for a good price.
