I've got a 5 1/2 USFA SAA in .45, and another on order from Doug Turnbull's shop.  They get them "in the white" from USFA and do the finish, with a "DT" serial number.  B-E-A-U-tiful!  Delivery's been held up waitin' for USFA to get them the gun.  I can hardly wait!

Then it'll be time to save up for a .45 Lightning!!!

Like I keep tellin' myself, "That'll take a few paydays, Paul!"

Gander Mountain in Amarillo has a 4.5" Rodeo (Used) for sale ($629.00). I have looked it over and it seens in great shape. The action is smooth and few marks on the frame or barrel.  There is no wear where it is holstered. The lands and grooves look clean and unworn. I don't think this pistol has been fired much. Is $629.00 too much for it? Thx.

LazyK Pejay,
$629.00 sounds abit to much, especially for used. I got a NIB one a month ago from Auction Arms for $423 shipped and another NIB from a pard here in the classifieds which I picked up yesterday for $500 shipped.
As tempting as they are, unless you got lots of $$$$$$$$, shop around first. They're out there.

I would not pay more than $550.00 or so for a Rodeo and the show prices can be even less.  Still, it is a good gun for that money since it is better than a Colt SAA at twice or more the price.

I am tossing between a 7 1/2" Bisley, or a pair of 5 1/2" Premiums with Stags.

Pejay, my dealer here in S. TX. can sell me a NIB Rodeo in 45 or 44-40 for $500.  I went with the Gunslinger in 44-40 and would like another but I have read that they may drop the 44-40 cal.  Meanwhile he does have the 45 in stock for the same price of $500 NIB, so don't pay that $629.

Come down to San Tone and call me.  I'll put you in touch.

CSlim,

Thx for the info sir. I like the look of the 4.5" rodeo. I wonder how the Uberti Gunslinger (which looks like the Rodeo) will do? Have a great day.
