Hello:
Some folks responded to my ad in Cas City? I had sold the 1873. I waited a month, no one replied so I sold it in one hour on Gunbroker for considerably more. I will always give a better deal to a cowboy.
The 1866 was tuned by the Cowboys and Indians shop, they did a few hundred bucks of work on it and the action is light. It was shot in CAS, stock was scratched, I have the original finish about off. All parts are there. I am moving away from .44-40 though.
Also have two tuned .44LC conversions, used, and a .45LC 1873 Uberti expertly tuned and shot, no short stroke (24.5 inch barrel).
If anyone felt put off by not hearing back from me, I apologize but it did not seem anyone was interested for too long a time. If an offended fella needs some .38 LC or .44 LC cases to feel better about me, let me know. Happy to share with Cowboys.
Cheers, best of everything
Mean Bob
