Evening Y'all, supposed to get hit tomorrow with another Nor'easter, Weather liars are calling for 10 to 16 inches of the evil white stuff, still about 70,000 people in the area without power, this isn't going to help things any. Where the heck is spring?

It was here Sunday and that's all I care about.  Had snow overnight.  Hit all 3 years we been doing this with nice weather first Sunday in March.  Figure next year it will look like the 2009 muster.  Pony Express was there. ;D

At 0400 the NWS sent a emergency message Warning us of a FREEZE.  Really did i need to be wakened for that?

Coffee is hot and some water also.

Currently 37 degrees and clear expected high 52. Hope it don’t effect my blueberries.

Afternoon all.

I think California stole y'all's spring over there. Yesterday was 70, today is 65, forecast for rain.  We do have about 18" of white stuff over 5000 feet though, so I guess that counts for something.

Thanks Roo, We came through the storm fine, power went out a couple times but never for more than 15 minutes. ended up with about 14 inches total . I snowblowed my driveway late last night so I could get out this morning.

Afternoon all.

Rainy and 55 in California today.  I've sent the day inside editing my book.  So far my first edit has only taken 11 months to get half way through, so I might get this second draft done by Christmas.  ::)

New chicks are thriving well without a heat lamp.

Nice looking birds, roo.

Afternoon all.

Sunny and 60 today.  I'd be out enjoying it if I hadn't come down with a cold last night.  It hit me around 11:30, and hit hard.  Only got a two hours of sleep last night, so today I'm running on caffeine and bad attitude. ::)

Slim

Not here. Been cold enough too. Rain on store for weekend.  We put out some young chicks three years ago and had snow on them within a couple of days. We still have several of them.

Just had a late breakfast.... corned beef hash, yes from a can, two perfectly cooked over easy eggs...whole grain toast.  Sliced pineapple not from a can.

Been to feed store and got gas in pick up, fed all, including dogs and cats. Busy morning. Back to bed soon so i can work overnight.

Watching Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean (Newman).  My friend and mentor the late Jim Burk played Bart Jackson had his one and only speaking part in his career. Except for the word “Fight” in one other movie. ..Truely a great horseman...... RIP Jimbo
