Sick Prank - Patrick Wayne

Patrick Wayne, son of the Duke has crossed over. 

He played alongside his Dad, in The Searchers, The Quiet Man, Donavan's Reef, The Comancheros, Mcclintock and The Alamo.
Rio Grande was his first and Big Jake the last, I think he was also in the Green Berets.

I am saddened to hear this. I hope he had a decent life of his own; big stars' kids rarely do, it seems.

The Duke cast a HUGE shadow, though he did bask in a portion of it....
  He had a few rolls beyond helmed by family friend director John Ford.
The Long Gray Line, Mister Roberts, and some others without his father's name above the title credits.
He went out on his own to star in his own film, the second-string oater The Young Land.

Though He realized he was not quite ready to carry his own film, he returned to the family fold.
A few exceptions included a role in Ford's sprawling epic Cheyenne Autumn, his turn as James Stewart's son in the Civil War film Shenandoah.

I just did some checking online and found one reference to his death in Mar. of this year.  But other sources I usually check for celebrities deaths show him still alive and enjoying retirement.

I too look to IMDB as a source to check for celebrities deaths.  I was wondering where you heard of his passing as I was hitting the Youtube web site and was informed of the passing of Clint Eastwood.  In checking I found a picture of him celebrating his birthday on the 29th of May 2023.  Unless he hit a tree on his final run, I don't think he would have been ignored by the media.  I think there is someone out there trying to pull off some sort of prank.

SICK PRANK 

Apparently, some sicko gets his jolly's off.
I was dupped by a email attachment I received from a producer friend I used to work with.
In his defense he only forwarded the Obituary. 
Ray didn't verify it, I'll give him some slack as he's 80 and we have lost others we knew.
 In the same vein, the post stated Terence Hill had passed, and he is also very much alive.

I don't know why someone thinks this FAKE News is relevant and posts it.
I think it is sick, mean and stupid! I think it criminal.

There was a Patrick Wayne that past, but was a younger singer, I believe.
