Seriously, whats a decent price on a used, 100 rounds or so, nicely patina, 24" octigone barrel 66?

Is $650 good?

I finally got a few pictures of my Henrys.  The first is in 44-40 for use as a black powder rifle.  The original owner stripped the stock and bluing to antique it.  The pictures do not do it justice.  In person, it looks like an original.  Has had a Cody Conhager action job.  Stock is finished in oil.

The second is the "military" model in 45LC.  I bought this one used as well and it is as new.  Sling came with it.  It also has an action job by CC.  Some people do not like the shiny finish on the stock.  This one has beautiful wood and I am going to leave it alone.

Both shoot like a dream.

Thanks for letting me share.

Here's mine.

1. Is it a replica?

2. Are they available?

3. How much is this going to cost me?

BTW, that's beautiful!

The bottom Rifle is imported by "Cimmaron Arms", costing about $1500.00

the top is a home built, (modern) "Volcanic".

I do not build these for sell.

Maybe some day.

I also have a Navy Arms .45 Colt Henry.  It may be my favorite rifle to shoot.  I like how the Henry is so visceral and the .45 rounds are so slow you hear the strike noticeably later than the report.  Boom! pause Whap!
and it handles Schofield ammo as well
Boom! longer pause Whap!

I too would love to have a Volcanic.

Let me know if you decide to make them for sale as well.

Hey Guys,

I enjoy hearing you like these Volcanics (almost) as much as I.

I say almost because I have spent many thousands of hours to have them.

Research, Design, Machining, then fitting them together and hoping they work.

Even yet, I spend several hundred hours building one of them.  and then there's the Cartridge they shoot, I have to make them also.

It is not possable for this action (Toggle Link) to shuffle and shuck any available cartridge today except the 22 Short.

So, this special cartridge turns off the regular gun manufactures.

You Guys who really want this gun,
I want you to have it, -
but, I spend over 300 hours building one of them. Would you spend 3 to 350 hours of your time to have one?

I do this for the love of the Gun, and the challenge, not the money.

You stand a better chance of me giving you one, than hireing me to build one.

This Gun can be built for the same cost as a "Henry", for those already set up to do it. But it needs that Special Cartridge.
(Let those who build "Henry's" take note)

For you who would really like to own this Gun, I would like to see it happen.
I would like to see it happen for the love of the "Volcanic", I don't need the money.

If you ever shot this gun a few times, you would not want another Cartridge.
You would agree, this Cartridge, and this Volcanic, goes together.

I am Charlie, search for me and the Volcanic on the internet.

I notice you have your own headstamped cases now. Do you make these, or are they something you have made? I have read all the other information I could find in the last few months since hearing about your rifles and was unaware of actual 40 Volcanic stamped brass.
