Thanks Rye.
I understand that this "thread drift" is my fault and I don't view it as a P*ssing contest in the least. I just get tired of the "sideways" comments you here all the time about a President that I like! It's almost a given that when conservative leaders are "talked about" by leftys, we are supposed to let it slide . . . don't say anything back . . . don't rock the boat! Well I have just as much right as anybody to be proud of my President and I'll say so when I feel the need. I'm not trying to convince anybody one way or another. I gave specific points (of which there are numerous more) rather than generalities. Not trying to make friends or enemy's, im just standing up for someone who gets beat up in the press day in and day out yet still has the ability to grow the economy, protect our international interests, get folks to work, protect our boarders, be an on the front leader of our present pandemic . . . nobody can truthfully say he's been treated fair, or name the so called crimes they say he committed . . . they tried for 3+ years and couldn't .
Yet on the other hand, I put up with the previous President that I did not like in the least, tried to give us Socialized medicine, told us America has seen its best days, doubled our national debt . . . I had to bite my tongue and not say anything or I'd be called a racist.
Honestly, if Obama was doing what Trump is today, he'd be hailed as the "Greatest President" in U.S. history!!!
When did almost half our people decide that Socialism was a good thing? We could've had that 100 yrs ago. I'm from a Military family and we fought 2 World Wars to keep that from happening . . . but suddenly we can't seem to get there fast enough!! Anyway, I'm extremely proud of my President and the job he has done his first 4 years. He may not talk ?presidential " but he respects our country and our military and wants a people proud of their country, a country to be the envy of the world!! He understands that we have the most unique country in the world . . . where anyone can become an American! Unless you were born in France, you can't be French, or English, or German, or Mexican . . . but in our country, anyone can become an American!
That's where I stand on the matter . . .
Mike
