I loved Tuco in that movie.  We showed it to a 25 year old Computer guy and he hated the movie, especially the three way shoot out.  BORING, took 5 minutes to shoot and that was 4:45 too long in his opinion.  The youngin's don't do climactic endings.

I bought my 1851 "Man with no name" conversion (essentially an open top) because of Wallach's putting one together in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.  I had wanted one since I was, oh 7 and first saw that film. 

Made my wife watch it with me.  Now everytime she hears a rip off music piece on another western she comes running in "Is it that same guy . . ."  She was so happy I got the revolver she said "Oh honey, you just love that character and that gun don't you?"

Also made her watch Unforgiven.  

Salute Eli, thanks for what you gave us, you were one of a kind.
