Custer Era Cavalry Revolver, Serial Number 6078

Here is some information about an interesting Colt Cavalry Revolver in my collection.  While no conclusive evidence exists, I believe there is a strong likelihood that it was used by the 7th Cavalry at the Little Bighorn.

I really like this article and everything you shared, its nice to see a revolver thats from the battle. Just one thing, the native in the photo is a Crow or Nez Perce, not Lakota. just letting you know.
