I heard from Sod Buster a month ago or so. He may have seen or heard from Lucky Irish Tom.  Can’t say, or say that I had in 6 or 7 yers now.

Lots of folks using other social media I suppose.

I see both now and then on Facebook.

Scattered Thumbs posted some things earlier this summer. I think it may have been in the Zoot section, or maybe replying to M-2 about one of his European auto pistols.

I think it was Baltimore Ed' ST replied to , just last month .

I'm a bit concerned about El Peludo, he was kind of ailing in his last post or two.

Morning y'all.
Thanks for the coffee.

'Tis 66 and overcast. Dewpoint 60 instead of 75 like yesterday. High of 83.

M2 we are all getting older. Even TK is getting older... we have watched Slims children grow up, now has one following him to the matches. A daughter in college. Just seems like yesterday we had 10 pages of  content a day here.

Roo

Still above the dirt, just my rather quite self.  I check the board at least once or twice a day if I can.

Not much is happening here in Reno.  I can give you a current weather check (Highs in the mid to upper nineties, light winds picking up to 15 MPH about 18:00, chance of rain and clouds nada).  Repeat that for at least the next 10 days.

I too am worried about El Peludo!  He is one of the Founding Fathers of our club here in Reno.  That was back in '94 or so.
I'm going to see if I can track him down.

Okay

Tracked him down and he is still face up.  He's just slowin' down a bit.  Sounds like he is still doin' good, and had a short talk about shooting, guns, and all that stuff.

Poor man lives down in Clark County NV, which is almost as bad as still being in California.

Said to say Hi to everyone and hopes to post every so often.

Thanks for the coffee...
having turkeyburger sandwiches for breaklunch lately, actually quite tasty!

we have beenhaving lovely Monsoon weather here in the great Southwest this entire last week, and it is continuing, thank God.

have to clean up a sink full of dishes, literally 10 loads of laundry, trap a packrat, check on the mousy traps, find & concrete over
the mousy/packrat entrance into the crawlspace, get new tires for Mrs Marvel 30 y.o. subaru legacy, chase down Rx's and the insurance co.
clean out the L.R. , refinish and install 4 sets of bookshelves, and get the 8kw genset LP conversion kit installed....
oh, and get the snow blower prepped & tuned...

I don't do the Facebook, Twitter  etcetera, etcetera, etcetera  media ...  ???

Unless you like to have your identity and all your personal data skimmed, and be susceptable to tracking
insane tailored spam, crazy monstor trolls, crazy foreign trolls, misinformation, disinformation, and much worse,
you are missing nothing.

The so-called social media crap IMO is the worst thing the internerds ever came up with, and it along with google,
literally make money by selling information gleaned from your activity.

Anyone who says "oh you have no privacy anyway" is a corporate mouthpiece lying piece of trash putting up a
"throwaway straw man" for an arguement.

Greetings all.

Currently hunkering inside to escape a thunderstorm.  That’s about all for here.
