For an opentop.
« on: March 01, 2016, 11:03:06 PM »
Here is one I built as an entry to the World Leather Debut in the tooled holster class.

It is built using vintage McMillen stamps.

Very nice. Many thanks for sharing this with us.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

I've really grown to like this type of holster. Used to think it covered too much of the gun. now I think it adds mystery!
Beautiful work!

Thanks guys!
You're right David. I lucked into the biggest bunch of them I have while sitting at a gun show in my hometown. The local ex saddle shop owner came by and I asked if he had any old tools. He said yes and we worked a trade of sheaths and a holster for a can of 96 mostly Mcmillen stamps with a few old craftool in the mix. They were rusty, but most cleaned up well.
