COLT WWI reissue possibly For Sale if any interest.......
« on: August 18, 2010, 08:38:59 PM »
Gents & Ladies,

I have a COLT WWI REISSUE that I was planning to use for Wild Bunch matches, but do to monetary constraints I am thinking of selling it.  I have fired approx. two boxes of ammo through this pistol, it performs flawlessly.

Pistol is in like new condition and comes with both the blue COLT box, the reproduction kraft box, two magazines, and a holster & mag pouch. I had Homer Brown make this up & he based the set on one in Packing Iron.

I wanted to gauge any interest that might be out there before uploading pictures. If you are intersted in purchasing and would like to see pictures please contact me at johnnyshoes@netzero.com

Price is $900 + shipping. I have seen these pistols selling new for $1,100 (or more) and the holster set would add another $175.

Regards, John.

Is it the carbonia blue 01911 or the black army 01918?

Jake,

 Reply sent.

Gents,

Have had a couple of request concerning trades and I may be willing to do a full (or partial) trade for an early Webley revolver in .450/.455/.476 calibre. Webley Bullgog, RIC, WG(Greene/Government), No.5 (not Mk.V have one of these already) etc... Finish need not be great, but bore and mechanics need to be in fine firing condition.

Also interested in a .303 "Long" Lee Enfield (or Carbine), Charger Loading Lee Enfield, Sht.LE or SMLE up to a No.I Mk.III/no star. All should have the appropriate volley sites and magazine cutoff present, and condition factor should be same as above.

Thanks, John.

I have seen these pistols selling new for $1,100 (or more) and the holster set would run another $175.

Regards, John.

I want to thank Capt. John for the speedy and honest deal on this fine firearm.  John is a man of his word and pleasant to deal with.

Also,  if anyone is interested in the Homer Brown holster and mag pouch, they are for sale in the classified section.
