Prayer Posse
« on: March 18, 2004, 07:41:41 PM »
I've read about the Prayer Posse.
Is it a real organization or is it more of a loose association.
I'm interested in joining. Who do I need to talk to or is there a web page I can go to?

Big Bear, you might recall the many times were requested on the old cas-l and how many miracles happened as a result of those prayers.  Our own Cheyenne's son was the subject of our prayers and he is doing much better now.

If someone on that forum, and there were some who wrote that the prayer were off topic, didn't believe in the power of prayer they should have become convinced by what happened so frequently.

This requests for prayers has carried over to other cowboy groups like the Frontier Spot and SASS Wire.

There is, as Lawdawg said a separate group that I belive is an off shoot of the prayer requests on the SASS Wire.  I haven't ever checked out the site but I am a early member of the Prayer Posse and have the pin to prove it :)

That is one of the many good cas-l memories that will always be close to my heart. Btw, I have corrected the url info on their website and added the banner to Lawdawg's posting above. It is .org instead of .com. Enjoy their site.

Thanks,

Prayer is a powerful thing. I remember when Hick's son was going through some bad times and wasn't expected to get better. But I believe it was the answered prayers of the many on CAS-L that lifted him up.

Thanks for the info.
