Club auction of Winchester 1873
« on: October 04, 2006, 08:38:04 PM »
I hope I,m not stepping out of line here but could I ask that you check out this Winchester 1873.
The Bismarck Mandan Rifle and Pistol Assoc. is trying to make a little money by auctioning off a rifle on gunbroker. The money will go towards a new indoor 50 meter range.
Here is the link.

The clubs address id http://www.bmrpa.org
The BMRPA has a strong cowboy action group and an awesome outdoor
range. The upper midwest is in need of a large indoor range and this
could be it. Thanks for looking. I understand if this post is deleted.

Just curious if it sold. I noticed the auction was closed and the reserve was not met. That is one beautiful rifle. I noticed that you state din the description that it was made in 1888. In that case the rifle could be shipped direct to the buyer since it is an antique made before 1898. It didn't have to go to an FFL.
