Texas Paterson made by Pietta
« on: October 18, 2023, 07:51:12 AM »
Good morning Forum,
I recently picked up a Pietta Texas Paterson revolver. This one is completely blued, was made in 1989 and is lightly engraved. The grip is made with wood that is very nice, not stained like my others. I believe this gun was a fancier version of the Paterson, but I can't find any information on a gun like mine. I do know that Pietta made a version of the Patterson that was blued and came with a nickeled(?) frame, and also a completely nickeled(?) version, both with light engraving. But I have never seen a completely blued version. I did reach out to Pietta, they did not answer my question about a completely blued version.
Anyway, I am hoping that someone here knows something about this gun, was it part of a cased set, when did they sell this version, what did they sell for when they were brand new?
Thanks in advance,
Mark
