Uberti 1885 High Wall - Hefty Trigger Pull
« on: April 01, 2019, 09:21:36 AM »
I have a new Uberti 1885 Hi-Wall that I purchased early last year. Had a bout with cancer (cured now) and just now getting back to shooting. The trigger pull on this rifle is really very heavy. So heavy that I cannot drop the hammer with the pad of my trigger finger. I have to use the space between the first and second joint. Does anyone know of any adjustment to try?

Can't help you with your question, but .... I'm also a cancer survivor, nine years in remission this summer.

Changes your outlook on things, don't it?

A friend of mine had the same issue.  He ended up taking it to a gunsmith who did an excellent job.
