The first coat on the Rossi looks good so far. I have stopped on the screws as they won't come loose for me and I am not gonna bugger them up. Enjoying an iced tea now, see y'all in the AM.

Morning all! Rooster, I was having no luck on them so I decided to skip raising the force level as I still don't know if the sights are soldered on in addition to the screws. These were added later it seems. They are actually rifle style sights on the barrel, not factory.

 Evening all.

Long day at work today, even though it was technically a short day. Lot of customers, and two large delivery trucks, with just little old me to get them checked in, scanned, and put out on the shelves. I ended up staying 45 minutes late.

I also managed to hurt my back picking up a box labeled "paper towels" that was really filled with windshield washer fluid. So I'm talking it easy tonight.

Yep, been there, done that.  What is the average an hour for sales?

At least the relief showed up.

Well, here's a pic of the Rossi put back together. Turned out nicely, the stripes on the butt are some kind of reflection.

At least the relief showed up.

On a Thursday afternoon we average about 15 customers an hour.

Today was even longer than yesterday. I was originally scheduled 12-5:30.  But then the schedule got thrown in a blender, and I even up working 12-11:30, with a 10 minute break around 3 to drive across town to the second location and resume work there.

Have to be back at 10:30am.  I am starting to wonder if this is worth the $10.25 I'm making.
