Huzzah! Pay up or die letter arrived today!  .50-70, 1-36" twist, 24" polished barrel, standard wood, military butt, pack hardened action.  Ordered December 2020.  Must be starting a round barrel run.   ;D

Good choice. Pack hardened is well worth it!
